We’re Wendy & Barb, two proud Boomers who’ve discovered a fantastic new way to make life easier, more organized, and a whole lot more fun — with a little help from a powerful new sidekick: ChatGPT.

What does GPT stand for?

Generate -- It can generate text (like answers, stories, posts, birthday cards, etc..)

Pre-trained --It's already been trained on a large amount of text from the internet, books, articles, etc., before you start using it.

Transformer -- This is the type of artificial intelligence. (AI) architecture it uses -- a very powerful model design created by researchers at Google in 2017 that's especially good at understanding and generating language.

So, in simple terms, GPT is a kind of AI that has read a lot and knows how to write, answer, helps with understanding technology, and converse based on what it's learned -- like a really well-read, fast-thinking assistant.
